Busy Beach

It's still fairly chilly, and a chilly breeze from the SE, but mostly sunny all day, clouding over this evening.

The day started off on the museum desk.  The local council was in for meetings, but with the sunny day, we were fairly quiet with visitors.  The afternoon was spent down at the croft house museum, and I never saw any visitors.  Walkies with Sammy the evening, and then off to work in the pub later.

I left work, and took a detour on my way to the croft house museum, as it was my lunch break too.  As I passed by Bigton, I spotted these seals on the beach.  They're often here, and I think I counted 69 here today.  It's been great seeing all these orcas around lately, but they are having a huge impact on the seal population.  Taken at Rerwick beach, Dunrossness.
