The hot chicks next door
Neighbour Pat discovered the fantastically friendly robin's nest was in her strawberry planter. Sam caught the chicks snoozing together and not long after this, the very next day in fact, they fledged. We've been spotting the wee chicks, all rounded wee fluff balls of dishevelled feathers and out of proportion beaks, in our garden and out the back woods. Stay safe wee birdies, and keep an eye out for the terror hawk that is Thumper the Hunter.
