Last full day

On our last full day in Yorkshire we visited the lovely town of Richmond and had a wander round the castle.  After which we headed for Byland Abbey, making sure we are making the most of our recently acquired membership of English Heritage.

There seems a be a heck of a (jokey) rivalry between English Heritage and The National Trust, if NT knew we had joined the Dark Side I am sure action would be taken and our walking boots would be tampered with.....
