Clever crab spiders
These crab spiders, Misumena vatia, are able to change their colour between white, yellow and pale green to help with camouflage as they lie in wait for prey. These two were both on the flowers of Wayfaring tree. One was much whiter than the other, and brilliantly hidden amongst the flower buds, but I guess the yellow one was a little ahead in its thinking and had decided that the pollen colour was the mid spring fashion statement. Both seemed to be doing quite well.
