A Grand Day Out

After spending the night in Pitlochry (a birthday treat) the car headed north and we ended up at The House of Bruar .... what a place .... a shopping extravaganza for those with unlimited funds!

The weather was much better than expected so leaving E wandering round the shopping zones L and I set off to walk to the Falls of Bruar. We didn't quite make it to the top because we had no idea how far it was or how steep parts of the walk were. We do plan to return another day when we have more time.

A welcome ice-cream before heading south on the M9 along with hundreds of other motorists.
