Birthday boy!

John, our next-door neighbour, today celebrated his 91st birthday.
 
He recently had his driving license renewed, walks daily in Dunblane and attributes his good health to “keep moving and an occasional gin and tonic.”
 
His mother was diagnosed with TB when John was in the womb and he was not expected to live.
“Well look at me now,” he said, “ if those folk were still alive they would be very surprised.”
