Pastel Shades at Buttermere

After 24 hours of much-needed rain, the front passed through and left a beautiful and breezy afternoon at Buttermere. This view is looking across the end of the lake beneath Fleetwith Pike, with the ridge leading to Dale Head on the left.

Today is a landmark day for me: my only son is 30 years old.
