Early Evening in Newlands

Today I walked the Newlands Round with old friends, starting from Catbells. Early morning rain soon cleared and clouds rose above all summits. 

Early evening, we passed through this gate and looked back at our descent from Robinson (centre) to Littletown Farm and ice-creams. The lighting was exquisite with dramatic skies.
