A Show of Shorn Sheep

At 7 o'clock,
we were all still asleep.
But we had to get going...
we were off to see sheep.

The sheep were baa-baaing,
the others to warn.
"GO JUMP THE FENCE...
OR YOU WILL BE SHORN!!"

The sheep were lined up,
the guy shearing their wool,
and when he got done...
he had a bag full.

Think of this next time,
when on your sweater you pull.
It could've come from this barn...
YOU COULD BE WEARING THEIR WOOL!!

Me, Merrick, and Grandma were watching the haircuts at a local place that specializes in treating young people with schizophrenia. As part of their therapy, the residents work the farm, and assist in growing plants in their nursery.

We saw llamas, donkeys, horses, bunnies, goats, chickens, and these sheep.

The farm is open once a year. We bought 7 tomato plants that are going to need to be planted.
