Water sports

This morning I was at Victoria Baths quite early - big day - first time there has been public swimming for nearly 25 years.  My first 'job' was to take some photos before we let in the press photographers ;-)  Second job - check that the shop was adequately stocked.  Third job - blow up some rings and things for children to play with in the pool.  Fourth job - open the shop until my relief arrived at about 13:15.  It is great to see any of the pools filled with water; it was even better to see, and hear, everyone enjoying the experience (see extra).

The it was back home, get changed, and then walk to Bramall Park to help with the Duck Race (see extra).

It was unfortunate that I was 'double booked' - Victoria Baths and the Duck Race - since it meant I did not have time to swim in the pool.  But there will be other opportunities.

And then as I walked up the path to the front door of the apartments where I lived it started to rain.  So a day absolutely full of water sports ;-)
