A lamppost
There was some rain yesterday but it brightened up in the afternoon a little. The lampposts at the start and end of the main road through Cheadle Hulme 'town centre' are a bit more ornate than the others (see blip).
The lamppost depicts a train crossing the viaduct which is just down the road from where I live - it is called 7 Arches. If you have ever traveled from the south to Manchester on West Coast Mainline then you will have gone over that viaduct regardless of whether you traveled via Crewe or Stoke - the two lines converge at Cheadle Hulme railway station. You probably didn't remember it though since 5 minutes later you would have gone over the ever so slightly more impressive Stockport viaduct.
