Travels with Matilda

We're off again tomorrow to Essex and Suffolk to catch up with some of Mr. T's family.

My usual every other day of checking out our local  Swans' nest today revealed that there was a successful hatching yesterday.  Only 7 of the original 9 eggs hatched but the 'magnificent 7' are here and so very fluffy.  Makes my heart melt.  I've had such a super week meeting some lovely and extraordinary people and another one today, a boater from Canada, married to an American, used to work in the BBC , like me, and off back to America tomorrow, leaving their boat in our canal basin.  They will be back again in a few weeks' time when we shall get together again.

Not sure about wifi where we're going but hope to keep in touch.
