Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to everyone. We all have the ability to be a mother to someone at sometime.

Today started out with me ensuring that the cats, the birds and even the squirrels had what they needed to eat and drink. Everyone was out there too hanging about waiting for me.

Then it was off to church. It's always a nice day when the primary kids(junior sunday. school) sing to us. All the men over the age of 12 also sang to us.

After sacrament meeting the primary kinds handed out tiny bags they had put together with the help of the youth, a couple of weeks ago. All the women got a little paper bag containing Hersey Kisses and tied with a quote about motherhood.

Our "news" is that today Kent was once again called as the Ward Young Men's President. He's still our organist, but now he is also responsible for all the male youth ages 12 to 18.

I'm not sure where he is going to find the time and the energy to carry out all that is required but that is where his heart is and he will somehow get it all done. We can always hope and dream that his workload might ease up a bit. :-)
