Mom

For Mother's Day, I took mom to see a movie and then for tacos. It may not sound like the typical celebration but we had a nice time.

The movie was terrific. It was The Zookeeper's Wife. I won't give too much away but it's set in 1939 Warsaw. It has to do with the early days of the city's zoo and what was happening in that country during that period. I highly recommend it.

Even though I had to keep reminding mom it was her special day, she seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. I feel blessed to still have her in my life.
