Apple

On arrival in Chicago, my first task was to take Miss L's ailing MacBook to the enormous Apple store to try to get it repaired, with the year's warranty expiring tomorrow! In the end it was accidental damage do not covered: a repair of $475 is about the cost of a replacement laptop so "happy birthday"!

Now to see a little​ of the city on my way to meeting a collaborator at the Department of Statistics at U Chicago.
