Down on the farm!

What an absolute wash out of a day...but not enough to stop our class trip, of course! Today we went to Cannon Hall Farm as part of our science work on animals. The rain didn't dampen spirits as the children excitedly piled on the bus ready for their packed lunches at 9:02am ;-) Always the way!

We really did enjoy a grand day out looking at all the animals, seeing the cow milking session take place, feeding the piglets and watching the sheep have their nails clipped.

I think it is safe to say they'll sleep well tonight!!
