Protective Custody

If mom goose looks a little wider than usual it's because she's got about eight little ones tucked under her.  I hovered around with the camera at eye level until my arm gave out waiting for a baby to peek out but all I got was a hint of gosling under her right wing.  It looked as though everyone was comfortable and planning to stay that way but quite suddenly mom stood up and about six kids fell out. See Extras.  I don't think they thought that was funny at all, but I did.  Well, not funny, but really, really cute.
