Island Queen, Cara, and Gigha
13.3C bright morning then a band of heavy rain crossed the country. Much brighter/sunny afternoon.
SSE/S/W/WNW wind to 23 mph with gusts to 33 mph moderating to a light breeze.
Apothecary7's day off.
Mid morning we went to Tayinloan for a change. On the way we stopped at the farm stall at Bellochantuy for local eggs and fresh milk from Gigha. At Tayinloan we had a walk along the beach and got the last of the sunshine in which to get our shots of Island Queen. I have gone for and angle which shows what was the deck and superstructure with a backdrop of Cara and Gigha.
When we walked back along the beach the rain was starting. We popped into Big Jessie's tearoom and had an early lunch. While we were eating the heavens opened and the rain was very heavy for a while. Thankfully the rain was a lot lighter by the time we went to get the car to come home, and it was off by the time we got back home. This afternoon the sun has come out.
Later Apothecary7 was working on her rag rug.
