High tide, Evie (Day 740)

I was over-dressed for the wander up the hill with the dogs this morning. The hat and jacket were entirely unnecessary in the warm wind and sunshine.
Back home, I got on with a couple of things in the house before my beautiful wife returned from her overnight shift at work. As a special treat, and because the weather was so good, I allowed her to spend the morning cutting down a tree. It has been needing to come down for a while, as it is starting to crack the garage wall. I rewarded her with cake for lunch.
We headed out to Evie to wander the dogs in fabulous sunshine. The colours were stunning.
Just after we returned home, the heavens opened and a monsoon prevented further fun in the garden.
