Pastoral scene at Lorton

The torrential rain of the past few days has given way to glorious sunshine. This was the scene in Lorton this evening. There are lots of calves, and their mothers were keeping a watchful eye on me as I walked along the footpath. 

I checked that the fence between us was solid!
