A Mossy Tuffet

I found this little mossy tuffet sitting on the deck rail. It was probably deposited by a bird, but I did wonder if Miss Muffet  was missing hers.

It has rained and rained today. I have never had so much surface water lying around in places where it has never pooled before. The rain hasn't been heavy - just steady. The ground must be totally saturated.

No mice invaders at all today - I am doing a happy dance.
