A Rural Autumn
Although the day started off rainy, later the rain actually stopped for a while and let the sun shine intermittently. I went out for a walk around some local streets and found this autumnal scene. The leaves are thinning out now on the trees - it wont be long before they are bare.
In the extras just for interest is a picture of a small part of a huge flock of pied oyster catchers sheltering from yesterdays storm. They were just a bit far off for a good shot.
I am pleased to say that for the second day I have had no mice - the crisis is over. But just to ensure I still had something to worry about, the living room ceiling began to leak in the heavy rain last night, something it has never done before.
