MOUNT ROY:

Last night the meteorological office said we'd have rain & snow - they're inclined to put these funnies across from time to time - there isn't a cloud in the sky & it's absolute perfection. The hills are this magical colour & I want to Blip them, but they'll be here tomorrow ( & the day after ! ) & perhaps the leaves on the maple won't. So I've gone for colour. I am on the driveway looking down; you can see a neat bed of heathers which were trimmed yesterday. My house is well over on the left. So much in the shade because the sun is quite low in the sky. That is out of my control !
