Napping Pigeon

A bright crisp morning demanded that we get out for a walk so we went along the old railway line from Eskbank to Bonnyrigg station.

It was not the most exciting walk, despite the profusion of brambles to be consumed along the way, although we did see a sparrowhawk sitting on a garden fence and this pigeon, caught in a patch of sunshine while hiding under the leaves.
