Who stole the bridge?
went on another expedition with the intrepid octogenarians in the Wee County Walkers group and today we headed east along a path running parallel with the river Devon. This empty field has an intriguing man-made slope and some stone pillars heading towards the river. Back home a bit of research revealed that these are the remnants of a railway bridge over the river Devon from the glory days of the Devon Valley Railway.
