Evening stroll along Windermere

After a day of chores we took a stroll along the western shore of Windermere from  Ash Landing. It was a very still and calm evening with lovely reflections. We seem to stumble across the local duck nursery as there were three pairs of different ducks with clutches of tiny chicks varying from eight to eleven. The chicks are very difficult to photograph in low light as they never stop moving .. see extras.
