Foxglove tree
I was very surprised to find this tree on the campus when I was whizzing between meetings. The only other time I've seen one was in Regents' Park about three years ago (https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4256224). The blooms look like giant foxgloves. I've now spotted a second tree outside our new decanted library but the blossoms are very high up. The tree is Paulownia tomentosa.
The campus is a treasure trove of plants and there's always something new to discover.
