Wolfenden lecture

Picked up number one son after work to go back for the inaugural Wolfenden lecture on campus. Lord Wolfenden was one of our Vice Chancellors in the 1960s and was the chairman of the committee that looked into the legalisation of homosexuality. The lecture was by Ruth Hunt of Stonewall (http://www.stonewall.org.uk/people/ruth-hunt-0). She was a great speaker - no Powerpoint slides, no notes, and it was a very interesting talk. 

So much has changed in respect to LGBT+ legislation and attitudes even in my lifetime. I'm pleased to be an LGBT Ally at work.
