Hacienda

A different kind of derelict today - not a cabin or castle but a Spanish style hacienda which looks so odd on the rural coast road!  It was lived in when we first arrived but has been empty for years now. It's in a wonderful position, overlooking the sea and with quite a lot of land but each time it sells something happens. It doesn't look too bad from the outside but inside everywhere is dripping damp, black decay, rotten wood and collapsed floors. We always thought it would make an excellent cafe - teas on the verandah, but I think it's gone too far now.
