Having had the best weather for golf this morning it started raining on the 16th and then hardly stopped all day.
We dodged the showers early evening to grab this photo at the JCB duck lake, then call into the Ostrich for a drink. By the time we came out the sky was amazing colours, the extra shows the bottom of a wide  but not very tall rainbow.
However the most exciting part of the day was within 400yards of home, almost dark ,we spotted 2 little owls. I jumped out of the car, Lesley drove home and I watched them for quite some time feeding over the fields. I suspect they may have young but it was just to dark to see where they may be nesting, so more reccy tomorrow
