Make hay while the sun shines...

...or at least take lots of sunlit photos, as you never know when you'll see it again (in Melbourne at least, with it's unpredictable weather). Have I used this title before? It seems familiar... ah well, I'm nothing if not predictable.

Lovely and sunny this morning, so I went out into the garden in my pyjamas at 7.30, as the sun was lighting up the polygala so nicely. Polygala is a great garden shrub - it flowers all the time. It never stops flowering, even in the dead of winter (well I know we don't really have a 'dead' of winter here; it never snows and is hardly ever frosty up here on my hill).

And of course it is purple, my favourite colour!
