A bigger bee

This was taken using my camera's dodgy "macro zoom" setting - it makes the image too noisy and not sharp enough for my liking, but it was the only way I could get this close to the bee. So apologies for the quality!

This was slightly cheaty, because the bee wasn't moving, making my job much easier! It was alive - it's antennae were moving - perhaps it was just having a rest? But it was very windy, so the bush was moving a lot. This was taken between the constant sun/rain/wind cycle that went on today. And it was very cold!
