Saturday: Lemon Butter

Today's weather has been absolutely glorious. It seems like there has been a real shift. Everything is in full bloom and everyone is suddenly dressed in much lighter clothing. Finally! It's felt a long time coming.

We marked the day by going to buy a gas canister for the barbecue and setting that up. We're now ready to go!

This evening we headed over to V and E's for spot prawns. It's now the season but, I have to admit that, until a few days ago I had never even heard of these creatures. Suffice to say, they are incredibly juicy and tasty (not to mention sustainably farmed). It was an outstanding meal and wonderful company, particularly as we got to meet E's lovely sister, visiting from Salt Lake City.
