First week of GCSEs completed.
Penny had had a much better sleep last night. She’d fallen asleep straight away and didn’t wake up until I stirred her at 7am. She had her reading and listening Spanish GCSE today and her friends came round to pik her up. As soon as she left, I went for a run. I hadn’t been since Sunday as my knee has been a bit funny all week. Bibi didn’t have an exam today and had a lie in. Penny and Lily came home around 11am and she said that the Spanish exam had gone quite well. Bibi, Penny, Bibi and I caught the bus down to Teddington High Street and went to a new café there. We walked back. Penny and Lily picked up a Domino’s pizza on the way home. Bibi and I had had lunch at the café.
I spent the rest of the day marking final year projects. Penny and Lily watched TV for a couple of hours and I then persuaded Penny that she should do some revision for next week’s exams.
In the evening, I went to meet Lorna and Susan at the Tide End Cottage. I had planned to walk down there but I didn’t finish marking until 7:15pm so had to jump on a bus. On the way home, I picked up Bibi from Ed’s.
