Highland cattle

Day 2 of our adventure started with a massive cooked breakfast and then it was out to Hindhead Common and The Devils Punchbowl. These cattle roam wild on the common. At first I was a little wary of them but then realised that not only did they have no interest in me but they also had no interest in posing nicely (with their heads up) for the camera!
The Devils Punchbowl took a little finding but if only we had turned 180 degrees from where we started we would have seen the signpost. About 2 miles into a 6 mile hike the light rain turned into heavy rain and eventually a hailstorm. We decided to turn back and head for the National Trust café.
Despite the weather we had a good time and it was a nice little treat.
