Clear

16C with blue skies. Breezy. Beginning to cloud over late afternoon.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went out for our walk after lunch today. We went up by the old church and took the bridle path route and were rewarded by clear views out over the fields. As we walked towards the shore we could easily see the Bell Rock lighthouse which is 11 to 12 miles out.

Down at the shore the tide was quite high. Maeve and I plodded through deep soft sand and shells all along to the Fishermen's huts. The beach was quiet, so we took our time and found some small pieces of Sea Glass. No one at the huts but we did meet the couple who live in the end cottage as we walked past and we stopped to say hello.

Later I mowed the lawns in the back garden.
