Market

The view from a friend's apartment today over the market. We were visiting a Syrian family and struggled to find the right place. I'm always amazed by how helpful people can be. They're not good at giving directions but will take you to the place you need to go, whether they are walking with you or going ahead of you in their car (even if they're not heading that way). K's sandals had fallen apart so one man came and told me where I could buy new ones for her! Another lady opened up her dress so I could see her heart surgery scar and we exchanged numbers and got an invitation to her home!
