Carpets

This morning water came so we could clean our carpets on the roof.  It's SO lovely not having school- we got such a lot done! I will now be able to join in the "cleaning carpets" conversations (riveting as you might imagine) with my head held high.

We had a lovely day- spent with neighbours, sitting on the street chatting to old friends and meeting new ladies; the children played with their friends then disappeared off for an impromptu birthday party. I even managed to say NO to 2 teenagers who came over asking me to teach them English- yippee! It felt so good!


(Can I just make clear - that is water Little J is spraying over the carpet- I now realise it's a rather unfortunate pose!)
