Mahon festival de flores.

Mahon has hosted a flower festival all week to celebrate the start of Spring - it has been a week or so since the last fiesta after all. The town is awash with flowers; real and crafted by schoolchildren, art students and small businesses. As well as taking all that in I visited an art gallery/museum which was also decorated in floral displays, and watched my favourite musical troupe, xaranga del xubec, who were as fun and energetic as always. When they took a much-needed halftime break, the violinist carefully placed his instrument on the statue in the square where they were performing. See extras for the band enjoying the break.
