Cumbria Way Away Day

Walked a section of the Cumbria Way from near Bassenthwaite village to the delightful village of Caldbeck about eleven miles away. The logistics of getting the right cars to the right place for the start of the one way walk were as complicated as ever but it all worked out. It was a glorious day and the walking through the lovely northern fells not too strenuous. Caldbeck, with its coloured houses and stream, is delightful and there are a number of interesting things to explore around the village so I will return as there was no time at the end of the walk today.
