Glorious

Another flame tree blip. I wish there was some way to record what one sees as they drive down tree lined streets that are bursting with red! It has to be experienced in real life. G took this shot for me as we were (briefly) stopped at a traffic light.

I haven't seen a flame tree more full and perfectly formed as this one. It is right outside the Garden Glow entrance of Zabeel Park. We had an extremely clear day today. Blue skies even (see extra) and not too hot.

Sad to say, the washing machine isn't working, even after following instructions in the manual, so I called to let the guys know. They promised they'd come to take a look but didn't.

Awful news from Manchester. There are no words. Found out that the Burj Khalifa was lit up in the Union Jack in solidarity. Managed to get some important things ticked off the list. Well, one in particular. :)  I suddenly have a lot of catch up engagements!! Two tomorrow, one on Friday and one next Tuesday! It's all happening!
