Tydd Steam Brewery

Moved out of London today and up to Lincolnshire. Weather is miserable, scenery is flat and uninteresting, hotel is basic.

The choice of places to eat are a pub in the next village, which was recommended for its food, or a Maccy D's.

Now I don't mind Maccy D's for a coffee or the odd bacon roll early in the day but, evening meal..............no thanks.

So went down to the local pub only to walk in, and straight out again! I'll say no more.

On the hunt for somewhere decent to eat, I found this place and had a pint of 'Scoundrel' produced by the local brewer at the Tydd Steam Brewery.

All the villages around here are 'Tydd' something or other.

So, being nosey I went on their web-site to find out a little about them, and their home page summed up the general feeling for the day.

'Beers from the middle of nowhere!'

Home tomorrow evening.
