Across the Flow (Day 748)
There was an unwelcome return to dreich, grey, wet weather as I wandered the woofers up the hill. The drizzle was unpleasant.
Back home, the dogs and I waited for the return of the birthday girl.
After lunch we headed to Swanbister for a walk and spent a wee while collecting whelks with Pam, Richard and Lauren. An unusual pastime for a birthday I suppose, but they will be sold in the morning.
I took a wander to get a shot across Scapa Flow towards Hoy as big clouds rolled past.
We had a quick turnaround at home and are now at my Mum and Dad's for a small glass of wine and dinner.
