Afternoon at the beach (Day 749)

Mum made a fantastic dinner last night and we washed it down with rather a lot of red wine. This morning, feeling not too bad, my beautiful wife and I took the woofers a wander along the shore. It was a lovely morning, jackets were not required.
Back at mum's I got myself organised and went to look at a leaky loo. It appears that they need a new cistern. I am waiting to get the go ahead to change it.
After lunch at home, HV and I headed out to Swanbister and spent the whole afternoon on the shore picking whelks. We got loads. I am sunburnt. Ooops.
I can think of worse places to spend a sunny afternoon.
