Poppies. Alnmouth

Out early, as normal.  Headed out towards Warkworth, Alnmouth and Craster.    In the end I chose this image from Alnmouth, but I've added a harbour shot from Craster with Dunstanburgh Castle in the distance. 

The other image shows clearly how the village of Warkworth lies in the middle of an oxbow bend of the river.  Must have saved the castle builders from having to dig moats on three sides of the castle!
