Waiting to be planted

I decided to share some beauty with you today.  It was either that or the current state of what used to be our kitchen (I'll probably do that tomorrow as the fitter has just told us that the plasterer due to come in tomorrow now can't come until next week, holding everything up!).

Highlights of day 1 of the kitchen makeover:

* A leaking soil pipe, which as a result means
* we can only use water from our en-suite
* A completely gutted kitchen, with no ceiling
* Dust everywhere
* for some bizarre reason the ceiling lights in the lounge and dining room don't work , but the remaining ground floor lights do (and they are all on the same circuit!).
