Cranes

Late leaving work today - I just caught the 1909 out of Waterloo. I was very hot and bothered but I got a seat and it wasn't too crowded. I had my back to the engine and as the train pulled out past the old Eurostar terminal I caught sight of all these cranes on the Shell Centre site. The old Shell Centre Tower (I used to go swimming in the pool there) will remain but the rest of the site is being redeveloped to produce a mix of offices, retail and resi. Sounds quite exciting. The developers are Canary Wharf Group and Qatari Diar
