Penny's Year 6 Art Class

Penny is working at the British School of Guangzhou as a senior school art teacher. As part of this she also has to take some primary level classes. This is one of 3 panels that she made with her year 6 art class. Year 6 work! She and a colleague have put up an exhibition in the Music Corridor as part of a presentation for new parent tours.  

The Principal of the School, Mark Thomas has just sent an all staff email saying (inter alia) "I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the display of amazing year 6 artwork in the music corridor. It is stunning and strong evidence of the benefits of having specialist art teachers in Primary. ..... We have lots of parent tours going on this term and I know that they will be stopped in their tracks when they realise this is Y6 artwork. Totally stunning."

I am so proud of her.
