Pretty good day all considered.

Childminder came for a trial this morning. A lovely girl called Gemma who is a musician and looking for extra money on the side. She was recommended by some neighbours as she looks after their children.
She was wonderful. Audrey loved her and the house had an eerie sense of calm when she was there.

We now have a regular arrangement set up for most weeks for four hours here and there which will allow me to go in my office and do some work. The great thing is she's only downstairs so I don't have to worry as she only has to shout if she needs me.

Had an NCT reunion this afternoon at The Lead Station. Almost all of us came which was great. What was funny was that every single baby looks like their Dad, really made me chuckle. We're planning a night out without babies in Didsbury in a few weeks which I'm looking forward to too.

My stressful work meeting on Friday is fast approaching, starting to feel a bit sick about it. Went for a run tonight to clear my head which was wonderful. Pounding the streets really helps boost stress!

And best news of the day is that I have hit my half way target on weight loss a week early. Only another half stone to go by Bonfire Night....arrrghhhhhh!!! Might not go the full half though, I quite like my new womanly curves. We'll see.

Today's blip shows Audrey hanging out on the chaise longue watching the leaves outside. She really is noticing her environment a lot more. She was mesmerised. Will be shame when winter comes and they all fall off!
