Risk
Another busy day. Probably it was busier than yesterday, but less productive.
The highlights?
Well, doing a risk assessment for Sunday’s Rotary event wasn’t one of them. Having plenty first hand experience of the common sense approach to things in Germany, the paranoia about health and safety in this country is a farce.
The end result is that people tick boxes on their risk assessment, but after that fail to use either judgement or common sense. If course this is how banking got in such a mess too...
Lunch with my accountant was actually a highlight. Strange but true. She’s also a client of mine, and we’re currently working together on a project for a mutual client. We decided it was all too complicated to talk about so we just ate and gossiped.
I remembered about a Blip around 8.30pm. Some head scratching ensued. My first bowl of this year’s strawberries from the greenhouse will have to do.
My late dad gave me the strawberry plants quite soon after we moved into this house in 1999. Still going strong.
The weekend beckons...
